One of the most common failure for a noodle cutting machine would be the scrapper in the cutting component deforming. The scrapper used in a noodle machine has to be made out of food grade brass, which has a low hardness.
The noodles would push on the scrapper when the machine is in operation. This causes some force to be exerted on the scrapper. Over time, this causes the scrapper to deform.
In our recent project, we modified the scrapper such that the scrapper is thicker in thickness. This would result in a scrapper which is more resilient to deformation. This would increase the lifespan of said parts, resulting in a reduced maintenance cost for our client in the long run.
